Founder and Managing Partner
Heather Engel is a nationally recognized cybersecurity strategist, keynote speaker, and author advising government and industry clients on risk management, cyber planning, and security program development. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Strategic Cyber Partners, she brings deep expertise in GRC frameworks, CMMC, FedRAMP and Payment Card Industry (PCI) security standards.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology. She currently serves on the board of Riverside Health System, Girls on the Run Hampton Roads, and the CIVIC Leadership Institute. Recognized by Inside Business as a 2015 Women in Business, she was also featured in the book “Women Know Cyber – 100 Fascinating Females Fighting Cybercrime”.
